Policy concerning the use of cookies

 

This Policy determines the rules for storage of and access to information on the User’s devices by means of Cookies used to perform services provided by electronic means requested by the User, by Cosibella sp. z o.o., the owner of the cosibella.pl website with its registered office in Warsaw.

I. Definitions
  1. Controller - means Cosibella sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw (02-231), ul. Jutrzenki 177 (tax id. no. (NIP): 5223180504, business id. no. (REGON): 385746050), which provides services by electronic means and stores and obtains access to information on the User’s devices.
  2. Cookies - mean IT data, in particular small text files, saved and stored on devices through which the User uses sites of the Website.
  3. Own Cookies - mean Cookies placed by the Controller, connected with the provision of services by electronic means by the Controller via the Website.
  4. Third Party Cookies - mean Cookies placed by the Controller’s partners through the site of the Website.
  5. Website - means a website or an application under which the Controller runs the website, operating in the skintra.eu domain(s).
  6. Device - means an electronic device through which the User obtains access to the Website.
  7. User - means an entity for whom, in accordance with the Regulations and the provisions of law, services may be provided by electronic means or with whom an Agreement for the provision of services by electronic means may be made.
II. Types of Cookies used
  1. Cookies used by the Controller are safe for the User’s Device. In particular, viruses or other unwanted or malicious software cannot get to the Users’ Devices. These files make it possible to identify software used by the User and to adjust the Website individually to each User. Cookies usually contain the name of the domain from which they originate, the time of storing them on the Device and the assigned value.
  2. The Controller uses two types of cookies:
    1. Session cookies: they are stored on the User’s Device and remain there until the end of the session of a given browser. The information saved is then permanently deleted from the memory of the Device. The mechanism of session cookies does not allow downloading any personal data or confidential information from the User’s Device.
    2. Persistent Cookies: they are stored on the User’s Device and remain there until they are deleted. Ending the session of a given browser or switching off the Device does not result in their removal from the User’s Device. The mechanism of persistent cookies does not allow downloading any personal data or confidential information from the User’s Device.
  3. The User may limit or disable access of cookies to their Device. In the case of using this option, the use of the Website will be possible, apart from functions which, by their nature, require cookies.
III. Purposes for which Cookies are used
  1. The Controller uses Own Cookies for the following purposes:

      • i) adjusting the content of the sub-sites of the Website to the User’s preferences and optimising the use of the sub-sites of the Website;
      • ii) identifying the device of the Website’s User and its location and displaying appropriately the website, adjusted to their individual needs;
      • iii) remembering the settings chosen by the User and personalising the User’s interface, e.g. in the scope of the selected language or region from which the User comes;
      • iv) remembering the history of the visited sub-sites on the website in order to recommend the content;

      • i) maintaining the session of the Website’s User (after logging in), due to which the User does not have to re-enter the login and password on each sub-site of the Website;
      • ii) proper configuration of selected functions of the Website, enabling in particular the verification of the authenticity of the browser sessions;
      • iii) optimisation and improvement of the efficiency of services provided by the Controller.
    3. Realisation of processes necessary for full functionality of the websites
      • i) adjusting the content of the sub-sites of the Website to the User’s preferences and optimising the use of the sub-sites of the Website. In particular, these files make it possible to identify basic parameters of the User’s Device and to properly display the website adjusted to their individual needs;
      • ii) proper handling of the partner programme, enabling in particular the verification of the sources of redirecting the Users to the sub-sites of the Website.
    4. Remembering the User’s location
      • i) proper configuration of selected functions of the Website, enabling in particular the adjustment of the information provided to the User, taking into account their location.
    5. Analyses, studies and viewing activity audit
      • i) creating anonymous statistics helping to understand how the Website’s Users use the sub-sites of the Website, which makes it possible to improve their structure and content.

    IV. Possibilities to determine the conditions for storing or obtaining access to Cookies
    1. The User may change settings regarding cookies on their own and at any time by specifying the conditions for storing and obtaining access by cookies to the User’s Device. The User may change the settings referred to in the previous sentence by means of the web browser settings or by means of the service configuration. These settings may be changed in particular in such a way as to block the automatic handling of cookies in the settings of the web browser or to notify the User about each case of placing cookies on the User’s device.
